Tanya is a life coach who has the ability to guide you when you feel stuck or would like a change of direction. She will work with you to set achievable short or long term goals whether it is related to your career, relationships or personally. Tanya often combines life coaching with counselling adapting to your specific needs.
Using evidence based models of therapy, Tanya tailors a program for each client that is dynamic and truly meets the needs of each individual or family. Some of these include: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mediation and Narrative Therapy. Tanya is also experienced with 12-step based recovery for addictions and practices mindfulness and meditation and can incorporate these approaches into her sessions if appropriate. She utilises the Circle of Security attachment model to help strengthen relationships in families and increase the long term wellbeing of children and parents.
